✨ Spotlight on KaytiBunny: Fire, Circus, and Seeds of Peace ✨

At Permaculture Pinup, we love showcasing the fierce and fabulous women who embody creativity, play, and resilience. Today we shine our spotlight on one of our original showcase models and co-creatrix: KaytiBunny.

Also known on Instagram as @dragonmagicqueen, she’s dazzled audiences around the world. Her variety acts and fire performances have lit up stages with some of the most iconic names in music: Deadmau5, Phish, String Cheese Incident, George Clinton & the P Funk Allstars, Shpongle, Gaudi, OTT, Random Rab, Bluetech, Cheb-i-Sabbah, Govinda, Kaminanda, Phutureprimitive, Gladkill, Rabbit in the Moon, David Starfire, Birds of Paradise, The Human Experience, Desert Dwellers… and many, many more.

But beyond the stage lights, KaytiBunny is answering a much deeper call right now. She has been working with the Free Gaza Circus — a youth circus founded in 2018 to bring hope, play, and healing in the middle of unimaginable hardship. These young acrobats run workshops and performances that help children relieve stress and trauma from displacement and war.

Today, they are under urgent evacuation orders, with threats of bombing looming over them. Their lives, and their art, hang in the balance — yet they continue to juggle, tumble, and fly, creating joy where it’s most needed.

War, of course, is the opposite of permaculture. It destroys communities, poisons ecosystems, and tears apart the delicate balance we strive to live in. Permaculture teaches us to build peace with the soil, with each other, and with our future.

And balance means holding the grief on all sides. While we raise support for Gaza Circus, we also honor the pain of Israeli families whose loved ones remain hostages. In permaculture, every root, every being, every drop of water matters. If one part of the web suffers, we all do.

So today, we invite you to take action:
👉 Donate directly to Free Gaza Circus: freegazacircus.org/donate
👉 Sign Oxfam’s petition calling for a ceasefire, humanitarian access, and the release of all hostages: act.oxfamamerica.org
👉 Share these stories so others can join in planting seeds of resilience.

Because here at Permaculture Pinup, we don’t drop bombs.
We drop seeds. 🌱💋✨

🔗 Additional Ways to Help (Optional Section Below the Post)

KaytiBunny is also working with Free Gaza Circus to explore relocation options for performers who may need to leave Gaza for safety. This may include relocation to the U.S. If you are interested in supporting this effort — through connections, resources, or expertise — please reach out. Sometimes we don’t know what to do, but here is one way to stand in solidarity.

Stay tuned — our sister community, the Electronic Music Alliance (EMA), will also be sharing reflections on this theme in the coming days, with a focus on performers and solidarity across global crisis zones.
